Night/Day

NIGHT/DAY
ink, colored pencil, watercolor, ink on acetate, on “plain” notebook, 2011

This is part of the “Plain” project curated by Dr. Guy Morag Tzepelewitz in which various artists were invited to work on the “plain” notebook. This type of notebook has been used for decades by children and adults all over Israel. “Plain” was exhibited at Gymnasia Herzliya, a historic high-school in Tel Aviv, Israel in 2011. The exhibition also traveled in various schools and youth centers around the country.

NIGHT/DAY is a two-story comicbook in which NIGHT begins at the back of the notebook (read left to right) and DAY begins at the front of the notebook (read right to left). Both stories eventually meet in the middle part of the notebook.
